Descrizione del progetto:
Our vision of carrying out this project is to explore in detail the issue of how the low interest of young people from the Mediterranean area in democratic life which can be counteracted with the right support and training of key players in these young people’s lives. Youth are often being seen to be impassive in their involvement & responsibility within their community. Our project stems from our awareness of the fact that those with the ability to embrace and accept change are in fact young people. Therefore we see this as an opportunity for those whom assume the role of youth workers, mentors or coaches to spread awareness and knowledge of the impact youth can have in being present and in being advocates for active participation in society. This project will provide awareness across active citizenship and youth participation in order to strengthen the understanding of its key concepts. Through our program we will empower youth leaders & youth workers coming from the Mediterranean region whom are involved with young people to promote active citizenship among a larger number of young people by equipping them with the skills, confidence and tools they need. Young people are the key in motivating their peers and engaging them in positively changing society. Our project will hone in on raising awareness about the importance of democratic life for young people therefore helping youth embrace active participation.
Paesi partecipanti: Marocco, Italia, Grecia, Spagna, Portogallo, Giordiania, Tunisia, Egitto, Turchia, Francia;
Requisiti: Essere in possesso del Passaporto. Aver raggiunto la maggiore età, essere interessati alle tematiche del progetto.
Lingua del progetto: Inglese (si richiede un livello basso-intermedioc). Non sono richieste certificazioni linguistiche.
Condizioni economiche: Vitto e alloggio coperti al 100% dall’organizzazione ospitante. Il costo dei biglietti di viaggio sarà rimborsato da parte dell’organizzazione ospitante fino ad un massimo di 275€ a persona. (Le eventuali eccedenze sono a carico del partecipante).

Il Progetto è realizzato nell’ambito del Programma ERASMUS+ promosso e finanziato dalla Commissione Europea.
Quota di partecipazione al progetto: 40€, previsti come contributo di partecipazione (valido per l’anno 2022).
