Nuova opportunità di partecipazione in un progetto Erasmus+ con Beyond Borders: Youth Exchange “Breathe In –Clean Air“

Europe, harming both health and ecosystems. By air quality, we understand how much the air is clean or polluted. In general, air pollution is contamination in our outdoor and indoor environment by any physical or chemical pollutant. The air we breathe contains emissions from motor vehicles, industry, heating and commercial sources, as well as tobacco smoke and household fuels. Evidence shows that air pollution at current levels in European cities is responsible for a significantburden of deaths, hospital admissions and exacerbation of symptoms, especially for cardiorespiratory disease.
Each year in the EU over 400,000 people and 7 million people worldwide die prematurely as a result of breathing toxic air. Besides thehuman damage air pollution causes it also has a negative effect on nature and biodiversity by damaging natural vegetation, plants, and cultural heritage (buildings and monuments by increased levels of acid in the air)
The European Environment Agency has created plans and goals for improving air quality in Europe with raising publicawareness and understanding of air pollution sources being one of the main goals
Objectives:
• To discover the main causes of the issue of air pollution
• To discover different measures to reduce air pollution
• To exchange experiences from different regions and countries of Europe
• To impact local and international communities and motivate them to challengethe issue
• To promote the Erasmus+ Programme, YouthPassand to develop participants’competencies
• To develop new project ideas and to create long-lasting partnerships
• To organize follow-up activities and to share the project results
All of the above will be reached through means of non-formal education. We will not be giving lectures, we will guide and motivate participants to work in groups, find their own conclusions and develop communication and group working skills.
Paesi partecipanti: Polonia, Italia, Romania, Ungheria, Spagna, North Macedonia;
Requisiti: Aver raggiunto la maggiore età, essere interessati alle tematiche del progetto.
Lingua del progetto: Inglese (si richiede un livello basso-intermedioc). Non sono richieste certificazioni linguistiche.
Condizioni economiche: Vitto e alloggio coperti al 100% dall’organizzazione ospitante. Il costo dei biglietti di viaggio sarà rimborsato da parte dell’organizzazione ospitante fino ad un massimo di 275€ a persona. (Le eventuali eccedenze sono a carico del partecipante).

Il Progetto è realizzato nell’ambito del Programma ERASMUS+ promosso e finanziato dalla Commissione Europea.
Quota di partecipazione al progetto: 40€, previsti come contributo di partecipazione (valido per l’anno 2022).
